Johnson City plans to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the long-awaited Langston Centre from 2-5 p.m. Nov. 17. Organizers anticipate the event will include tours and refreshments.
Although Johnson City has not yet determined an exact opening date, Adam Dickson, the recently hired supervisor of the Langston Centre, anticipates the long-awaited facility will be open to the public before the end of 2019.
