Police said a person found dead beneath an Interstate 26 overpass Sunday may have been “tagging” the overpass.

The male body was found off East State of Franklin Road between South Roan and Division streets.

Tagging is painting a nickname or mark on a surface by a graffiti artist.

Police were withholding the deceased’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
