It’s nearly impossible to know for sure, but Johnson City Christmas parade organizer Jennifer Clements is confident Saturday’s event set an attendance record.
Timing is everything, as the organizers of the annual Christmas parade in Johnson City are well aware.
The Clydesdales will precede Santa Claus (riding in the fire department’s restored vintage 1928 Seagrave ladder truck) in Johnson City’s Christmas Parade, which is set to begin Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
The Budweiser Clydesdales will be joining the lineup of the Johnson City Christmas Parade on Dec. 7.

The Johnson City Christmas Parade will be broadcast live on WJHL-TV 11.
The theme of the parade was the “A Storybook Christmas.”
