Rifle robbery: A man wanted from a June robbery and assault turned himself in to Johnson City police Sunday. Darian R. Delapp, 336 Preservation Circle, was charged with aggravated robbery. On June 30, police obtained a warrant for Delapp’s arrest after the victim at 108 E. Unaka Ave. told police he had been robbed. The man reported that Delapp, an acquaintance, and an unidentified man had come to his house and stole a refile from him. During the robbery, the victim was struck with the rifle’s stock. The men fled in vehicle Delapp was driving. Delapp was jailed Sunday in the Washington County Detention Center under $25,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Monday.
