Drugs at Johnson City Walmart: A Walmart shoplifting arrest led to drug charges placed Tuesday against a Johnson City woman. About 3:50 p.m., police were called to the Walmart at 2915 W Market St., where Walmart a loss prevention employee had detained 31-year-old Alexis Havsy. Police said she had 1.1 grams of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and a cut straw. Havsy, 3406 W. Market St., was charged with shoplifting, felony possession of schedule II drugs and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia. She was held in the Washington County Detention Center under $12,000 bond and arraigned Wednesday in Sessions Court.
Pawned items from auto burglary: Police said a Johnson City man sold items he had stolen in an auto burglary to a pawn shop, leading to his arrest Wednesday. Jonathan Ketron, 34, 205 Amanda Lane, was charged with auto burglary and theft under $1,000. On May 1, the victim reported that items had been stolen from his vehicle sometime during the previous night at 414 Emerald Chase Circle. Some of the items were later sold to a local pawn shop. Ketron was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center under $3,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Thursday.
