When police responded to a call about a stabbing at 301 S. North St., officers talked to a female victim and two male victims. Police were told there was a domestic disturbance involving two brothers, which escalated into the father asking his son Christopher L. Carr to leave the residence.
Witnesses said Carr then pulled out a knife and stabbed his father in the back before threatening his father’s fiancee to keep her from calling 911. Before leaving, Carr again argued with his brother. The argument escalated, and Carr cut his hand.
Officers found Carr Thursday walking near the intersection of East State of Franklin Road and South Roan Street, took him into custody and charged him with three counts of aggravated domestic assault.
He was held in the Washington County Detention Center on $75,000 bond and set to appear in Sessions Court on Jan. 14.
