Officials with the Washington County and Unicoi County Sheriff’s Offices are investigating what appears to be a car vandalism spree this weekend.

Washington County Capt. Shawn Judy said that four cars were reported vandalized Saturday morning, and estimated the vandalism probably happened on Friday night.

He said Enon Baptist Church, 106 Enon Church Road, Jonesborough, reported three church vans had been vandalized overnight with spray paint, broken windows and slashed tires.

Judy said a fourth victim at a separate location had a swastika spray-painted on his car and a tire slashed.

He said the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office and the Erwin Police Department to investigate the vandalism cases.
