Antonio Harvey, 29, 705 E. Fairview Ave., was pulled over by police after an officer said he noticed his vehicle’s brake light was not working. Police said he was driving on a suspended license and had three prior convictions for driving on a revoked license.
Further investigation reportedly revealed Harvey had a large amount of cash, two syringes and marijuana, a box with Suboxone, Buprenorphine, methamphetamine and crack cocaine. Police said they also found a pistol and a homemade sawed-off shotgun, four scales, two cellphones and a bag containing three other baggies of marijuana with a total weight of 33.6 grams.
He was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm during commission/attempt to commit a dangerous felony, possessing a prohibited weapon, three counts of manufacture/delivery/sell of a controlled substance, possession/delivery/sell of methamphetamine, unlawful drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked license and a light law violation.
He was held in Washington County Detention Center on $62,000 bond awaiting an appearance in Sessions Court Wednesday.
