Johnson City police say Ridges house guest stole jewelry, gun

Johnson City police arrested a man Monday after an investigation into an Oct. 7 theft in The Ridges subdivision.

Police began the investigation when a victim reported expensive jewelry and a gun missing from the house at 211 Lakeridge Drive after Gavin Muse, 18, N. Barton St., Johnson City, visited by invitation.

Muse charged with theft of property over $10,000. He was held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Tuesday.
