Visit with the animals and the staff, find out how you can help or volunteer, and contemplate taking a wonderful new family member home. All of the animals at the shelter deserve love, and they all deserve a family.
If you can make it yours - well, why not?
Our Pets of the Week this week:
• Christie is a ten-year-old gray Poodle mix who would love to have a warm bed tonight. A spayed female with an adorable smile and a wonderful temperament, she would make the perfect pet for anyone looking for good, reliable companionship and love. She is not a fan of cats, but loves other dogs and kids of all ages and sizes. Take her home!
• Tigger is a ten-week-old, black-and-white, male domestic short hair who loves people and anything that happens to pique his curiosity. He is playful and fun, and enjoys lounging with friends as much as chasing toys and lap time. If you have a little time to spare, spend it with Tigger - you’ll be glad you did!
• John is an adult male, white-and-gray domestic short hair. A handsome fella, he is also sweet (and a bit stand-offish at first) and playful. He enjoys being held and brushed, and likes to look at things from a different angle. Show him some love, folks.
• Bootsy is not quite as funky as his namesake, but he does like to get down. A senior Bassett mix, he is tan-and-white, and loves to be around other dogs and kids of all ages. He has been neutered, and he’s ready to head to your house for some good family time and love. Pay him a visit.
