WCJC Animal Shelter, January 11

Jared Bentley • Jan 11, 2018 at 4:12 PM

The biggest thing the animals at the shelter have going on is time. Doing time in their kennels. Wasting time until they can run or walk outside. Killing time until they receive a visit, always hopeful.

And it’s time they want. Your time. They want to take just a little bit of it to prove that they can make your time so much fuller and more enjoyable. If you just have the time.

If you do have the time, volunteer. If you can’t volunteer, donate what you can. Especially if you can donate your home and family to a dog or cat who deserves it.

Adopt a shelter pet, and you’ll love every day of it for the rest of their lives.

You can visit the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter at 3411 N. Roan St., or visit them online at tailchaser.org. You can also call at 423-926-8769.
