With Thanksgiving upon us, we should all take note of things we are thankful for. We should also be aware of others, and what they may be thankful for as well. And when I say others, I’m not just talking about your neighbors and friends (unless your neighbors and friends also include those who have four legs).

There are hundreds of wonderful, giving, loving, prospective pets in shelters through the region who would be immensely thankful for a spot under your Thanksgiving table this year. All they want is a few scraps, a few scratches, and a few hours of your time.

Give ‘em a shot.
