The animals in our local shelters are well taken care of. They have great people working to make sure they are well fed, warm, and active. They receive a lot of love from the staff at each facility, and each prospective pet is kept safe from harm. But they need so much more.
They need more love, more attention, and more hope. They need a place to call home, and a family to show them what a good life can be.
Do your best to help in that regard - whether it be adopting, volunteering, or donating when you can. The animals, and everyone else involved, will be glad you did.
This week’s Pets of the Week:
• DoDo is a is a sweet, handsome, one-year-old, tan and white, neutered, male pitbull mix. He is housebroken, loves kids of all ages, and would be a wonderful, active addition to any family or home. He is not a big fan of sharing a home with other dogs, and would need to be the only boy under your roof, but he’d be a great start for any single dog family. Come visit!
• Pepsi is a slightly nervous, very active, brown and white, adult, male Chihuahua mix who loves people, and craves attention. He wants to go home with you, and you should take him up on it - he’s worth it!
• Penny loves people, and loves contact. She is a one year, ten month old female, and this sweet, orange tabby needs a good home and lots of love. Take the time to pay her a visit, and you’ll want to bring her home.
• Mao, a five-year-old, spayed, female, domestic short hair had no interest in my camera at all. She was very sweet during my visit, and very loving once I put the camera away. She is a brown and gray torbie, and a very warm and friendly cat. Take her home!
