While you sit inside and do your best to stay warm, do not be one of those cruel, ignorant people who believe that weather has no effect on your pets. Your pets are family, so please treat them as such.
That said, there are plenty of worthy animals at the shelter right now who could use some warmth and love. Here are a few:
• Melody and Mileena are three years old, and they are wonderful. Dark gray Tabbies with an outgoing nature and a sweet disposition, they both need a home, and should go together, as they are bonded sisters with a deep affection for one another. Want to know what love and sisterhood look like? Come visit these beauties when you get a chance.
• Blondie is an older, adult male Terrier mix with a wiry tan and white coat and a very sweet disposition. He is scared to death at the shelter, and the cold is not helping matters. He needs to find a home, and he deserves it as well —just stop in and visit a while, and let him prove how fun he’d be at your house.
• Rose is a very active, very sweet, two-year-old Shepherd and Hound mix who wants to be a part of your family, and would love the opportunity to show you how playful and wonderful she is. She loves to cuddle, and is overly friendly and outgoing, so just give her a chance to prove it —you’ll be awfully glad you did.
