Pets of the Week

A visit to the Elizabethton shelter is always a good reminder that smaller shelters can thrive, if given resources and the right staff. The folks there do a fine job, and take care of the dogs and cats who are waiting on a family and a home. You should definitely pay them a visit when you get a chance!

This week’s Pets of the Week:

• Clifford is a one-and-a-half-year-old, male Blue Heeler mix who would love to be your next hunting buddy or home companion. He is very sweet and attentive, and loves attention from just about anyone - pay him a visit and see if he’s the right fit for your family!

• Ewok, a four month old domestic long hair, is waiting for you to drop by and say hi. Curious and active, this black and white, male kitten loves people and playing games. Join him for some fun, and then take him home!

• Missy is a beautiful, one-and-a-half-year-old, spayed, white (with black spots and markings), female Lab mix who needs to be out of her kennel. She is very active and fun, and being locked up is not the greatest position for her to be in. She’d be happy to talk to you about it - pay her a visit and have a little conversation!

• Tessa is a five-month-old, gray-and-white tabby, female domestic short hair. She is sweet and affectionate and loves to play and be active, and if that’s the kind of cat you’d like to have at your house, she could be the one for you. Take her home and let her show you how wonderful owning a cat can be!
