Pets of the Week

Another visit to the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter, and another opportunity to spend time with some wonderful animals in need of a good home. If you get the chance, please visit and spend some time of your own — it could be the best thing you do all month.

• Dot is an exceptionally sweet young adult female Pitbull mix, and she loves attention. Very well-behaved, friendly, and active, this beautiful girl loves to play with other dogs, and would love even more to be able to run and play with your fun-loving family. Pay her a visit!

• Arnold is a cute little fella, and doesn’t really fit in with a lot of the other animals at the shelter - because Arnold is a Guinea Pig. An adult male in search of a good family, he may have gotten his wish today, as a young couple was looking to take him home.

• Buster is an overly cute 18-week-old, gray and white, neutered male Tabby who loves to be held. Very popular with the shelter employees and visitors alike, he would make a wonderful addition to your family —just spend some time with him, and you’ll easily see why.

• Halley Purrey is an adult female domestic short hair who doesn’t appreciate being awakened during nap time. This brown and black Tabby woke up cranky, but quickly turned her attitude into a good one, and enjoyed the attention immensely. She’d like to have more, if you have the time to visit.
