Another visit to the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter, and another opportunity to spend time with some wonderful animals in need of a good home. If you get the chance, please visit and spend some time of your own — it could be the best thing you do all month.

• Max is a 6- to 7-year-old male Husky mix who is quite popular at the shelter right now. A very sweet, scared and active dog, Max wants to be able to go to a good home, and hopefully he will have options, as his visitors multiply. He is house-trained, likes dogs and cats, but should be kept away from chickens, according to his bio.

• Ezie is an adult female tri-color (brown/white/gray) Tabby with a need for a sweet family to take care of her. She has been spayed, and is a very playful, sweet and active domestic short hair. Pay her a visit soon!

• Gilgamesh is a 2- to 3-year-old hound mix with an extremely sweet disposition. This adorable neutered male is very active, and has a wound on his right side that isn’t noticeable and doesn’t hold him back in the slightest. He sure could use a little love!

• Mileena loves people. She also loves her sister Melody, and the two are bonded at the shelter. A beautiful gray-black-brown Tabby, she is adorable, sweet, curious and all cat. If you are looking for a great addition to your family, visit with Mileena, and offer your home to Melody as well.
