After all her children reached school age, she taught herself computer programming and worked in the payroll department of the Johnson City Medical Center for 25 years. One of her greatest delights was planning, hosting, and cooking for several family gatherings and picnics each year. She was also an avid gardener and loved birdwatching.
Her Munsey Church family was also very special to her--- so much so that she asked the Solon Gentry Sunday School Class and Circle No. 9 to be her honorary pallbearers. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Her family expresses their sincere gratitude to the wonderful and caring staffs of NHC Healthcare and Caris Hospice.
