BRISTOL – The Birthplace of Country Music Museum reopened its doors to visitors Thursday morning, according to an announcement from the museum.

As a way of saying “thank you” for their bravery and compassion in the wake of COVID-19, the museum is offering health care workers and guests free passes to tour the museum when they visit through Aug. 30. The museum asks health care workers to show their medical badge at the front desk to receive a free pass for themselves and a guest.

Museum staff developed health and safety protocol ahead of reopening, including the use of masks and gloves, increased cleaning schedules, and following CDC and state guidelines. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
