ELIZBETHTON — The Confederate Railroad concert that had been scheduled to be held at Elizabethton High School on May 24 has been postponed.

The organizer of the event, Go Betsy announced the postponement on Sunday. The postponement was made in response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Go Betsy officials said “refunds are available at point of purchase. All tickets purchased through Etix with a credit or debit card will be refunded automatically to the card that was used.”

The Go Betsy officials said they will quickly work on getting the other refunds back to purchasers.

“We understand that finances may be tight during this difficult time and we will get the refunds to you promptly,” the group said. “You should expect to see your refund within 10 business days. We do apologize for any inconvenience.”

The group said it is still working to make the concert happen once the pandemic has passed. Future updates will be available at GOBETSY.COM or on the Facebook page GOBETSY.
