The ETSU Chorale, Greyscale, the BucsWorth men’s choir and the Belles women’s choir will present both sacred and secular music from various holiday traditions in this concert, which has been presented annually for over 50 years.
The title song of the concert was composed by Morten Lauridsen based on the poem by James Agee. The program will also include sing-along carols and music played on the Munsey UMC organ.
The ETSU choirs are conducted by Drs. Matthew Potterton and Alan Stevens. Potterton chairs the Department of Music and is director of choral activities, and Stevens serves as associate director of choral activities.
Seating is limited for both performances, and advance ticket purchases are recommended. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students, and are available online at www.etsu.edu/cas/music.
