BMS and Bush's Beans extend partnership

DANDRIDGE — Bristol Motor Speedway and Bush's Beans announced a three-year extension to their partnership Monday at the Bush's Beans Visitors’ Center with officials from the company, the track and NASCAR driver Chris Buescher, who drives the No. 37 Bush's Beans Chevrolet in the Monster Energy Cup Series.

The company, located in the Chesnut Hill community, will continue as the entitlement sponsor of Bush's Beans Pole Day on Friday, April 13 and the Bush's Beans 150 for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series in August.

"It is a special partnership," Caldwell said. "When you look at this beautiful region at where we call home and how blessed we are with the people in this region, two of the brands that live here join forces and do good, it really is something special."

The company has long had a relationship with the JTG Daugherty Racing team for which Buescher and A.J. Allmendinger drive. Now at the speedway, the company will offer their Grillin' Beans product on race weekend.

"Bush Brothers is excited to be part of the thrilling community of Bristol," said Drew Everett, chairman of the board for Bush Brothers and Company. "Bristol is one of the greatest venues in sports and the Bristol race team provide a unique experience for race fans. We are proud to join BMS in welcoming folks from around the world to our home in East Tennessee."

Caldwell added it's important for the local businesses to stick together with so many other NASCAR tracks in metropolitan areas. Tickets for Bush's Beans Pole Day are only $5 which includes practice for both the Monster Cup and Xfinity Series and qualifying for the Food City 500.

The evening ends with Food City Race Night on the property, as Caldwell sees the parallels between the Food City sponsorship and the BMS partnership with Bush's Beans which goes back to 2010.

"Companies like Bush's and Food City and to be able to partner with those, we're in a David versus Goliath situation," Caldwell said. "We're competing huge markets like Dallas-Ft. Worth, Atlanta, Charlotte, Las Vegas and on and on. To be able to pull together some of our great brands and what makes this place so special, it shows how the people of this region can pull together to pull of these huge events.”
