AMEn is an all-male vocal ensemble of auditioned voices from throughout the greater Tri-Cities area. The choir was founded in 2013 and is dedicated to performing a wide range of choral repertoire — both sacred and secular — from the late Middles Ages to the present. AMEn is conducted by Dr. Noah DeLong and accompanied by Bryan Underwood.

With a wide-ranging program of seasonal music, “Yuletide Fires” will include old and new favorites to warm your heart. Highlights will include “Caroling, Caroling,” “I Saw Three Ships” and “Silver Bells.” The works of two Canadian composers will also be featured with Diane Loomer’s “Yuletide Fires” and Frances Farrell’s “Winter Proverbs,” a suite of four songs that depict the many shades of winter. In addition, the choir will perform a new arrangement of “Silent Night” in honor of the 200th anniversary of the beloved carol.

Concert admission is by donation basis, with suggested donations of $10 for adults and $5 for students). The Appalachian Men’s Ensemble is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by generous donors from across the region.
