UNICOI — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee will visit Unicoi Tuesday for a public meet and greet to be held from 11 a.m.-noon at the Unicoi Tourism Information and Visitors Center at 106 Unicoi Village Drive.

The meet and greet will be preceded by the governor’s private tour of the neighboring Mountain Harvest Kitchen, a community kitchen and regional food business incubator launched by the town in September 2017.

The governor’s visit will coincide with the weekly Unicoi Farmers Market and Community Yard Sale to be held outside the visitor’s center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Bite! food truck, a Mountain Harvest Kitchen client business, will be on site for those who wish to stay for lunch.

The visitor’s center and kitchen are located just off Exit 32 of Interstate 26.
