Knox Fulton linebacker/running back DeShawn Page was named Tennessee Titans Mr. Football for TSSAA Class 5A at a Sunday dinner in Nashville.

David Crockett quarterback Cade Larkins and Oak Ridge quarterback/cornerback Herbert Booker were honored as the other finalists. A committee of statewide sports writers selected winners based on performance in the 2018 regular season.

Academics and character were also taken into consideration. High school head coaches and members of the media nominated the finalists.

Larkins, a 6-foot-4 junior who was named Thursday as the Johnson City Press/Kingsport Times News Elite 11 Player of the Year, completed 222 of 376 passes for 3,979 yards and 42 touchdowns throughout the season.

He led the Pioneers to the first undefeated regular seasons in Crockett history, the school's first two playoff wins and a school-record 12 wins in a season.

Greeneville quarterback Cade Ballard repeated as Class 4A Mr. Football. Ballard, a 5-foot-9 senior who didn't throw a single interception through 13 games, has led the Greene Devils back to the state championship game. Bobo Hodges, a quarterback at Maplewood and the younger brother of ETSU basketball player Bo Hodges, was also among the Class 4A finalists.
