The Blue Plum Organization announced on Tuesday that Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will headline the 2019 Blue Plum Festival, which runs June 7-8.

In a statement emailed with the lineup details, Blue Plum President Tracy Johnson said the festival will have “a little something for everyone.”

In addition to more than a dozen musical acts performing at the festival, there will also be arts, crafts, food and other activities available.

Performers from around the region will also be performing, with the Sulphur Spring Drippers, Ed Snodderly, Devon Gilfillian, Empire Strikes Bass and Unspoken Tradition set to appear.

Denson’s Tiny Universe will be closing the festival on Saturday night. Denson is also the touring saxophonist with The Rolling Stones and is a founding member of funk band The Greyboy Allstars.

Festival Director Caroline Abercrombie said Denson was a “perfect fit for Blue Plum.”
