The Greeneville store is Hobby Lobby Inc.’s 28th location in Tennessee. Talina Murphy is the store manager of the 52,000 square-foot facility at East Andrew Johnson Highway and Tusculum Boulevard.
The Oklahoma-based chain has operated a Kingsport location for a number of years. It opened a Johnson City location on Peoples Street in August.
“The success of our stores in Tennessee is a good indicator that Greeneville shoppers will be pleased with the quality, selection and value we offer in the craft and home decor market,” Kelly Black, director of advertising, said in a news release. “New customers and customers already familiar with the Hobby Lobby shopping experience are eagerly anticipating this store opening.”
The store’s grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is open to the public. Local dignitaries, ambassadors from the Greene County Chamber of Commerce and other business leaders are scheduled to attend.
Hobby Lobby has more than 850 stores across the nation. Each store offers more than 70,000 crafting and home decor products including floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, wearable art, arts and crafts, jewelry making, scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies.
