Mitch Cox Companies teamed with UDC to develop a new phase of construction that will add 48 one and two-bedroom garden-style apartments to the existing 24 homes, completing the 72 unit community.
“We’re determined to make this an asset to the community and we’re excited to see this apartment community brought to a completion,” Shane Abraham, the founder and principal of UDC, said. “With the great features we’re planning, we think this is something the community will really be proud of.”
Once completed, Town View will offer one, two and three-bedroom homes with access to downtown Elizabethton and the Tweetise Trail. Town View is the 14th multi-family development in UDC’s portfolio of over 1,500 apartments, town-homes and houses. Rents are expected to start at $579 for a one-bedroom apartment and go up to $969 for a three-bedroom.
New apartment homes will feature energy-efficient appliances, hardwood-style flooring and carpeted bedrooms with satin nickel ceiling fans. The community will also feature a fenced-in dog park and a municipal grade children’s playground.
Construction is underway on the site, and the first units are expected to be available for rent in the fall.
