ELIZABETHTON — The strong scoring duo of Taylor Cox and Sadie Stout led the Lady Longhorns again on Monday night in a nonconference road 55-44 win with 14 and 22 points, respectively over Unaka.

Johnson County needed all of those points and more as they had to out-duel 26 from Unaka’s Lyndie Ramsey and nine from Zoie Grindstaff.

The Lady Knights (8-6) were led on offense by Christen Shoales as she netted 25 points and Katie Cross threw in 11. Shoales made four pointers, which was enough to make for not scoring in the final quarter of play.
