The East Tennessee State women’s basketball team concludes the non-conference portion of its schedule Friday when North Greenville comes to Brooks Gym for a 6 p.m. tipoff.

The game is the annual Youth Day. All kids 12 and under will be admitted free with a paying adult.

The Bucs come in 6-8 after a 57-45 loss to Northern Kentucky. That came just a few days after they took Michigan State to overtime before falling 83-74.

Senior point guard Tianna Tarter has moved into sixth place on ETSU’s career scoring list with 1,576 points. She is also fourth with 403 career assists.

Tarter and freshman guard Erica Haynes-Overton are the only two players in the Southern Conference averaging more than three steals a game. The two guards are the only ETSU players scoring in double figures. Tarter is averaging 16.3 points a game while Haynes-Overton is at 12.6.

Raven Dean, who started 10 games and averaged 7.5 points and 4.6 rebounds a game before suffering an injury, is expected to be back in ETSU’s lineup.

North Greenville, an NCAA Division II school from Tigerville, South Carolina, is 1-8 and hasn’t played since Dec. 12.

ETSU starts Southern Conference play Thursday night when it plays host to Western Carolina.
